Am I allergic to Big Red gum?

My 24-year-old girlfriend swallowed a big chewing gum.Isn't it silly to do such thing because you are lazy?

  • I and my girlfriend attend the swimming pool.She likes swimming much.She was chewing the big gum composed of two normal chewing gums.Of course it is difficult to swim and chew the gum at the same time.I told her to throw away the chewing gum.The waste basket is far away from the swimming pool, it is needed to get out from water and walk for a long to reach the waste basket.My girlfriend is very lazy and she didn't want to leave the pool so she made a gulp and swallowed the big chewing gum. I was scared but she put her hand on the buttom of her throat and it was gone . . . she told me that she felt the gum deeper in her chest but after a few second itwas gone too . . . she didn't feel the gum anymore it disaapeared . . . My girlfriend smiled and opened her mouth. It was empty.She told me that nothing to worry because the gum is already in her stomach and she will digest it soon.Isn't it silly to do such dangerous thing because you don't want to walk to the waste basket?

    No i dont think its that silly. Yes it is lazy, but the chewing gum isnt going to hurt her. If it was toxic, it wouldnt be sold for consumption. It will probably pass right though! Stop treating her like a child, if she wants to chew gum and swim at the same time she can- or if she wants to swallow it, its her body she can do what she likes!

From all I have heard... Yeah, the gum is in her stomach, but it will be quite some time before she digests it. (Years).

You are the silly one, for thinking that it was a dangerous thing!! THERE IS NO DANGER IN SWALLOWING GUM! (And it does NOT "take years to digest"!) Those are simply old wives' tales, and are not true.
