Mosquito repellent, will lavender oil in sun tan lotion work? friend going to Spain wants protection.?

  I dunno if eating garlic will keep mosquitoes away, but it can certainly keep people away! Actually, there is an effective and inexpensive product out there that works great. It's called "Deep Woods Off with Sunblock". It is available in a cream that comes in a tube like toothpaste. Better to carry that than the stuff that comes in a spray can while travelling by air: airlines DO NOT LIKE passengers attempting to carry pressurized cans of ANYTHING onto the aircraft, even canned air. And with today's hypersensitivity towards possible acts of sabotage or terrorism, you DO NOT wanna argue with the guys and gals who tell ya you can't take your spray can on the airplane.
