What are some good summer programs for high school students?

I want to pursue some sort of medical career when I get older, perhaps a cardiologist or something in neurology. I want to get a jump start on learning about possible careers in the medical field i would enjoy. I have searched for different programs and have even tried to find volunteer opportunities at local hospitals. So far, I have yielded no results. Do you have any suggestions for pragrams relating to medicine in California for high school students that may also look impressive on college applications?

they should have programs at ur school. Im going to school to be an RN. I know a girl that went to school with me that did this rop program and had her cna license by the time she graduated high school. so maybe ask ur counselor
