IN summer in Australia we get mosquito's, the best 2 things that we use are Calamine lotion which has been used for years and is natural, the thing is I am not sure that you can get this product in your country? The other remedy sounds yukky but it works, you spit on the bite and rub it in, if it is still itchier doctors recommend scratching the outside of the bite with two fingers which helps with the itching and stops any scaring. Poor little Darling's, you could also go to your nearest chemist (drug store)and ask for a remedy to be made up for the little ones.

My kids also have this problem. We always put ice on it to try to keep the swelling down. My older son is allergic to aloe, but we use it on the younger one.

This used to happen to me when I was younger. I would get a bite on my ankle and it would swell so much, I would have troubled running. I also had a bite on my eyelid once and could barely open it. I knew the swelling came mostly from scratching, but I still could not stop. I would put calamine lotion or other hydrocortisone cream to stop the itch and wait for it to go down. I did notice salt water and chlorine helped since the swelling seemed to go down after i got out of the pool. I pretty much outgrew this, so there is at least some hope your kids wont suffer with this forever. Also moving to AZ helped me since there is not as many mosquitos. Good luck!
