  • Which herbs are good for depression and anxiety? I heard that kratom is but would like to hear your views. Would like something that i could take as needed and would maybe help numb what im feeling. Must be herbal as i do not like pharmaceuticals.

St Johns Wort or Valerian. I've tried both and found none worked. I suppose it depends on how bad the depression is xx

Sorry to have to say this, but I think you're wasting your time trying to find a herbal solution to your difficulties. Even if you were to try something, it needs to be taken on a regular basis, not as needed. Remember herbs have not been tested either for safety or efficacy , and are only suitable for the mildest of problems.

Saint John's Wort, Gingsing, Mulit-B vitamins and minerals, Kava Kava. If you use St. John's Wort, be aware that you must be careful with the doseages and take no longer than two months at a time.
