Allergies are caused by what?

I have this memory lapses what can I do? Could they be caused by allergies, diabeties, stress, age 50?

  • Do you know what would cause me to just forget things. My son asked me to look up some info. on the internet yesterday & this was about 7 a.m but I didn't remember it til about 10 P.M. I really was looking for ways to help him out so I don't know why I would forget like that....it seems like I have to write everything down....is this normal or can I do something to help improve. I don't take amino acids because I was diagnosed with diabetes & certain ones are harmful to diabetics.

  • Answer:

All the above are possibilities for forgetfulness , especially when we enter middle age. Some people, with ADHD, also tend to be forgetful, as well as those taking tranquilizers, alcohol, or insomnia. It could be one of a million things and if you are worried I would consult a neurologist, specializing in memory disorders. Think back because you may always have had the problem but now you are more conscious of it. In addition yoga/meditation helps, using calendars and to do lists, and using mnemonics to remember peoples names. What that means is associating a person's name with some object like if you want to remember Angie's name, visualize an Angel, etc. Things will work out.

You probably have slow blood circulation in your brain, due to your diabetes. Take GINKO BILOBA tablets, it is possible to buy those in the pharmacies and in big super markets. It will help you to improve your memory .

Hi, I couldn't help but chuckle a bit at your question because I'll be 52 next week and started having the same problem at 50. I went through a premature menopause at age 46, and the ob-gyn doc said hormone changes will cause memory problems. But don't worry dear, you may just be perimenopaual (most women hit menopause at the same age their mothers did) and the memory glitches come with the territory. Mention it at your next gynecologist or GP visit and I'll bet the doc(s) will be most reassuring. edit: allergies are a possibility since they are rheumatoid based and there's a definate connection between emotions and rheumatoid disorders. Stress will definately do it! But most importantly, consult your doc.

There are so many things that could cause this. Are you getting enough good sleep? (Unwaking/uninterupted) Is your iron level where it should be? These are only a couple along w/Marilyn's answer. I would check with your doctor. Don't just chalk it up to aging- Best of luck!

yes, diabetics, stress and age will cause memory loss, but you can over come it by following few steps if you have time.First you start writing down all the daily requirements in a paper on priority basis. Then slowly meditate word of god which will stimulate your brain .solving sudokuo or cross words will help you to stimulate your memory .remember that loss of memory due to age can be solved only at a certain point and all the human have to undergo the same in their life .
