How do you lessen the swelling of a bump on your forehead? once you get it will it stay there forever?

Take some ibuprofen to alleviate the swelling and use frozen vegetable bag. :) I think that the bump will go away. I've had bumps and bruises before, and they are not here anymore.

We always use "Pea-ice" for our 4 year old daughter. A few months back she was playing with a soccer ball and tripped - fell onto concrete and cracked her noggin. We put some pea-ice on her new goose egg on her head and while it went down and she doesn't have a bump, it did create some freckles that never went away. Weird.

Ice or something frozen. It will eventually go away.

put ice in a cloth or a bag of frozen peas of somthing and put it on it it will hurt a bit but will make it go down

this is going to sound WEIRD or something but my mom taught me to use hemorrhoid creme (see i told you it was weird) #1 hemorrhoid creme or ointment is used to reduce the swelling of a hemorrhoid which is an inflammation of tissue #2 a zit or pimple is also tissue that is swollen and inflammed anyway, it really works but just don't like use some you found in your dad's bathroom drawer....go by a new tube and keep it just to put on at night (just rub it in and keep it on at night and in the morning the redness and swelling have gotten better) another thing that helps is to use a pimple cream that has Salycilates in it (the higher % the better) Salycilates are like the main ingredient in aspirin to prevent bumps or zits....use Natures Cure it is a herbal medicine that is specially formulated for boys or girls (you can get it at stores like walmart in the section that has acne pads, face lotions and washes, etc) It works really great but you have to take it everyday and give it time to build up in your system hope all this stuff helped and good luck with your bump

what kind of bump? a pimple? If a pimple them try a warm wash cloth but if you hit it them def. something cool.
