For me a cup of tea and a sweet biscuit, then relax.. Or... Drink water. Oftentimes, people get a headache because they are dehydrated. Fresh air. Breathing deeply can do wonders for a headache in general; Lemon juice added to water or tea can be a natural cure for a headache. Mint is soothing, especially in teas. Take a nap. You might have a headache because you need some rest

You may be dehydrated. Try drinking a glass of water, then after about thirty minutes or so, drink another. Hope it helps.

Drink caffeine, I would suggest coffee or a strong tea. Works every time for me. (Caffeine itself is in a lot of pain medications).

It depends on the type of headache, but I can offer some very basic advice: The most common form of headache is tension headache. Your skeletal muscle is actually having a spasm that you can't sense other than the fact that your pain receptors are picking up on the muscle tension and delivering a pain signal. Migraines are the next most common - and similarly, receptors are sending a strong pain signal. So, most of the time, you have to focus on diluting that signal. I know this makes me sound like a super druggie, but a reasonable dose of cannabis (marijuana) is probably the best natural way to get rid of both of those causes. This is why there is such a push for medical marijuana - as it is natural, easy and particularly useful for pain by going right to the source. Haha, sorry, but I am answering seriously here. You might also try drinking tea or eating tea leaves for the caffeine. Sometimes caffeine works very well just because it will regulate your blood pressure and possibly ease the tension. Caffeine is usually combined with other treatment methods though. Then, of course you could just get someone to massage your head while you relax. It probably will only be temporary, but it could certainly take the edge off. Some people choose to take a warm shower. Really, you're also just relaxing your muscles by doing that, which may or may not ease the tension headache. In reality, the "natural way" outside of these basic things comes down to hunting down very specific herbs that may not always be available to you. It might be easier to just relax and try to sleep it off after all, but hopefully one of these suggestions helps.

Oddly enough I find that if you are dehydrated you can get a headache, so why not try drinking a nice tall glass of water which definitely helps. Best of luck.
