The Post Office Misplaced My Package. How Long Does it Take Postal Inspectors to Find Which Scanner Was Used?

• I can't believe this! This is the 3rd time that this post office has misplaced this same package.I won several posters of my favorite musical artist on ebay and I paid for them back in January.Three times this seller was nice enough to reprint my posters and mail them. The notice from the post office and the post office website state that the package is at the post office. I went up to the post office today and they can't find my package! WTF! The papers and tracking number is stating that the package is at the post office. The supervisor is saying that the postal inspector has to find out which scanner was used so that they can locate my package. My package has been at the post office since March 4th but I work so I wasn't able to go until today because I was off work today. The notice says the package is at the post office but yet they can't find it and now have to find which scanner was used. The seller is not going to reprint my posters and I can't get a refund! Since January I have been trying to get my package! This is the 3rd time they have lost this package! This is unacceptable. How long does it take the postal inspectors to find which scanner was used? I don't want my package to be returned to the sender.I did inform the sender what happened. This is so ridiculous.I can't believe these morons at the post office lost my package and now they have to find it. How long does it take postal inspectors to find which scanner was used?

  If your package was insured, you can file a claim with your P.O. with your receipt and they will issue you a full refund. You have to wait 21 days from the day it was shipped. It is very weird, but once a package has been lost, it has a very high risk of being lost again. This happened to us once, but we were polite and treated the postal workers the way we'd want to be treated if we'd goofed-up, and we didn't have any problems getting information or our money back.
