What is the best dress for an airline interview?

How to dress for internship 2nd interview?

  • This small production company emailed me to come in for a second interview for their marketing department. Since it's small, and it's a production company, when I went to the first the interview everyone was wearing hoodies and jeans (for the most part). I wore a long-sleeve buttoned down shirt and dark formal, dress pants for the first interview. Now, here's why I'm not sure how to dress, aside from how they dress there: the email for the 2nd interview said they want to have a "conversation" with me — which I figure is a little less formal (considering the first interview was labeled nothing but an "interview"). Now I'm not suggesting to go in sweatpants but should I still dress as formally as I did for my first interview? (Keep in mind that my first interview was with the marketing head and the president of the company, so I won't be meeting anyone higher up.)

  • Answer:

Yes, I would dress as formally as the last interview. Obviously you made a good impression because you got the 2nd interview. I would save really casual clothes for after I got the job.
