Are people allowed to enter a pro sports event barefoot and shirtless?

  • (or in a woman's case are they allowed to attend the game in a sports bra and barefoot) Kind of an off the wall question but I was curious if you were allowed to enter a pro sports event, such as a minor league baseball game, barefoot and shirtless without actually having a shirt or shoes with you, or if this was prohibited. I always wondered if this was allowed or if you were only allowed to remove your shirt once inside the event Thanks for any thoughts

    yes I went to see the Texas Rangers last summer in my bare feet it was hot and no one said anything so much more comfortable being barefoot drove there and home barefoot also

I doubt it would be a problem in most places, but it might be in some. My dad always goes barefoot and so do my two boys. I remember his taking them to a ball game once but I don't remember where. I'm sure they were all barefoot because they always are, but I really doubt if they were shirtless. From what my dad has said about similar things, though, it's more likely to be a matter of who's on duty at the gate than of any actual rules, and most people wouldn't care.

I don't KNOW the answer, but would assume that shoes would be an insurance issue; required for safety reasons. It seems that shirts could easily be optional and left up to the league's rules.
