How should i write this apology letter?

  • I have to write a letter to this girl in my grade and her mother. I made a status about her about how I think its pathetic to post on your tumblr that your 14 and pregnant and joke and lie and say you were raped and your exbf beats you. and she got upset and told her mom and now her mom is threatening to arrest me, and I got told before the Meeting that her mother LOVES drama and is always starting stuff. The prolbme is this girl continues to go around school.and tell people I push her her into lockers, and that I make websites about how fat she is and how ugly her hair is. I tried to be her friend at.the beginning of.the year but she kept lying and talking about getting drunk and high together, and I told her I didn't want to dean with her. But my mom wants me to write her and her mom a letter and I am having so much trouble writting it! I think I'm having trouble because all I want to do is write her a letter.about how she's crazy and she's ******.my life up, but can anyone help me write this woman a nice letter. I don't feel like I should write the letter because the mom is going to give the letter to.the daughter and the daughter is going to bring it to school and show everyone and tell them all I'm afraid because she's a drama addict. So can anyone help me write a nice letter that's heartfelt but isn't mushy?

    Personally, you have done nothing wrong, so I would not write anything. Sit down with your Mum, talk about it, don't get angry and explain everything. If you HAVE done something bad, even small, to her, don't lie, but tell the truth. She is a lot worse. Then, tell your Headteacher (Dean?) about it, same conversation, and try to explain what is wrong. There is no point writing a letter that is not true and useless, she'll still carry on. Write the letter of apology and then leave this girl alone. Why are you bothering to post anything about her? Mind your own business. Is your own life so boring that you have to spend time worrying about hers? If she's bothering you at school, turn the other cheek. Just say you're sorry you posted anything about her and in future you'll keep your posts about yourself.

I would simply write something that says "Dear Ms. (mother's last name) and (name of girl). This letter is to apologize to you both for anything hurtful I have said. I am sorry for all the hurtful things I have said or done and it will not happen again. I hope that you can both forgive me and we can go back to being friends." Just make it simple and short that you apologize for the mean things you have said about the girl. You don't need to be specific of what you said.
