How to get rid of pantylines on formal dress for Mardi Gras Bal?

  • Ive been invited to be a guys date to a Mardi Gras Ball and I'll have to wear some type of formal dress, and I have a great one thats almost floor length golden satin with an open back and overall very sexy, but Im not sure how to get rid of my pantylines with a satin dress line this? I havent worn a formal dress in a few years and back when I did wear them, like in high school to prom or homecomming, if you wanted to get rid of pantylines and were a bad girl like me trying to get lucky on prom night, you just wore the dress without any panties at all! Its awful I know, but its what we did back then. I mean, I actually have done that on occasion with different dresses or skirts since then, when feeling frisky, but I wasnt sure if that was still appropriate for a twenty-something year old woman do be going in a formal dress without underwear to a Mardi Gras Bal or not, since Ive never been to one before. Id thought about wearing spanks without any panties underneath them, but spanks are so uncomfortable, and Im afraid they will come too far up my backside and be visible with the backless dress. Ive tried thongs before, but they just tend to ride up on me and get caught up in places it shouldnt go and end up all kinds of uncomfortable. Is there any other way to get rid of pantylines with a Mardi Gras dress other than to just not wear underwear at all? Im a little concerned that I'll get plastered drunk and may leave myself in a vunerable position and that not wearing panties may only make that worse, but I really hate pantylines so Im not sure what to do. Thanks for any suggestions!

    Go without. My lesbian neighbor seldom wears any panties or thong. Also in a long formal dress who wpuld even know it unless ypu told them. Go and have a fun time without anything on.

bubbles is pretty much right however wearing a thong on occasions is NOT going to cause a yeast infection. in fact, often if your legs are great and look okay without hose it's the easiest as the pantyhose often cause yeast infections so..... try and find a thong that's comfortable. while i'm not a victoria's secret frequent buyer, they have some that are actually very comfortable. there are actually some panties out there that are pretty seamless and a type of microfiber that would also be great. boy shorts might work as well!

Why not wear pantyhose? Sleek, sexy legs, control top - and no panty lines. Unless you think you'd be too warm, that's the way I would go. Women who wear thongs are (I forget how many times) more likely to get yeast infections - don't wear a thong. Edit - A by the way for you - and sorry for the grossness, but. . . you really ought not go panty-less in a satin dress. Any teensy, tiny amount of vaginal discharge (sorry, I know!) will stain the back of your dress, and make it look as if you've had an accident. Hose!

THONG. Seriously, this is what thongs are meant for. Buy some higher end comfortable thongs (Victoria's Secret, Hanky Panky, etc) and wear them for a few days before the ball so that by the time it rolls around you'll be over the initial shock of the switch (don't wanna be caught in public picking at your butt all night. LOL). Thongs aren't that bad, millions of women wear them every day. You'll get used to it in no time. The trick is to not think about it. Ignore the fact that you are wearing a thong, and soon enough you'll stop noticing it. Especially once you start drinking, you're totally gonna forget about your underwear. Have Fun!
