What is it like being an occupational therapist?

What's an appropriate gift for a child's occupational therapist and?

• what should I get for his motor therapist who sees him once/month? My 2 1/2 year old has been seeing his OT for about a year and a half now. She has been nothing but helpful, even helping out with a problem with the school system for my older child. My youngest is about to phase out of the system, in large part due to her work with him he's fully caught up in the areas he was delayed in. I'd like to get her a gift (or maybe gift basket?) to say thank you. And would she like something like a picture of my son as well added in? He also sees a motor therapist once/month, though he's only seen her a handful of times I assume if I get a gift for his OT I need one for his MT as well. Would a simple gift card be appropriate for his MT if I get his OT a gift basket of some sort?

  i would look for something she could use with the next kids, like a game puzzle or something.it might saveher from restocking her goods and it wont go to waste. sure a pic would b great... x-mas cards might be nice once in a while just to show her you wont ferget
