How should you dress for a volunteer research assistant position?
-
I'm thinking it should not be a suit or something too serious because it's a volunteer position (and it's only 10 hours a week) but I really want it bad! It's a 25-minute interview, and no ONE at the place dresses in suits. It's in the social sciences (sociology, psychology, history), and they usually don't dress in suits either.

Answer:
I think it's always best to make a good first impression as that's something people tend to stick with. I would wear slacks and a nice shirt.
