Educating the public on this subject?

HDB is generating profit or educating the public from parking offence?

• HDB issue CCTV captured parking offence notice with a period of one and a half month from the date of offence. They expect the public to pay the fines that were issue during the period which they take to issue the first fine. Fair to the public? Without knowing that you are being fine almost everyday, every morning at the place that you park just for a cup of coffee (5 to 10 mins before going off to work) and when you appeal to them they reject your appeal and force you to pay up the fine. Generating profit or educating the public? First CCTV install island wide in the neighbourhood to capture parking offence. I wonder how many people know or notified. System of issuing the summon had been audit check? If yes, then i think the auditor must be a very rich fellow. How do a normal resident able to pay the amount of fines. Per day $100.One and a half month=$4500 for illegal parking offence. Fellow Singaporean please share your view... and hopefully this can get HDB to stop squeezing blood from the stone..

  You certainly have valid concerns. All I know is that you must always be polite even when you are paying fines.
