Anybody out there work for a domestic violence organization to help victims?

This is a project for college, I'm doing a research paper on domestic violence. Thank you What is your position in the organization you work in ? What is the majority of people that go there, male or females? What is the most common reason the victims suffer domestic violence, from who? What is the most common reason they leave their abusive relationship? Why do the victims often stay with their abusive partner? How many victims of domestic violence do you see come in a week? What help do your organization provides for the victims?

  I did... it was too depressing. Everyone in America are sooo into movies like Twilight and Notebook, they don't realize that over 4 Million !!!! females in America are killed every year due to violence from a boyfriend or husband. Biggest dirty secret in this country. What is the most common reason the victims suffer domestic violence, from who? By their boy friends or husbands. Men in America, seem to see themselves as "kings of the house". They tend to enjoy humiliating and abusing people weaker then them. Its a sick fetish. Why do the victims often stay with their abusive partner? They have no self respect or love for themselves. A lot of girl friends/wives of cops are too afraid to report. How many victims of domestic violence do you see come in a week? It depends... varies a lot. Most women don't seek help. Only a very few report it. What help do your organization provides for the victims? Police reports / medical attention
