What is appropriate attire to wear to a broadway show in April?

I'm going to two broadway shows when I'm in New York, so I need at least one nice outfit to wear. I'd like to wear a dress but I'm not exactly sure what kind so please help :) . I'd also like to wear heels, but I'll probably wear flats . :) do help me please :) thanks !

Broadway shows are awesome. You can dress the color your like or choosing the traditional and classic hue ---black! For the style, you can dress V-neck, backless dress to show your sexy look.
