Is it acceptable for someone in their 30s to use a shopmobility scooter, when they don't need it?

It's the sh!t-tzu thats the menace. Thing is she may now live in .I qouth ' the most singulary posh area i have ever seen' but deep ,deep down she is a comedy scamming scouser. She's got hay fever and freckles btw which are both grievous ailments. The friendo truly peaked when she bought battery hen eggs from Somerfield ...the scooter became a smorgasbord of all things unethical - admittedly the sheepskin 'kumfy' seat should by rights be illegal. I'd blow her up to the council.

I had to use one in Tescos the last few weeks after breaking my knee (well the fat lab broke it tsk!!). They are ruddy hard to opperate, lol might be me but I was crashing into aisles, and running over peoples feet. The stupid machine had a beep noise when it backed up, and everyone was staring. The best bit was Ewan who thought that it would be funny when ever I stopped to put me in reverse.... I can't understand why someone would want to go in one when not needed, but me lol...well it is fun to chase people and aim at the back of their legs !!

If she can have one of those, then so can I. Tell me how she got it so I can get mine. Whizzing around the market and down to Sainsbury's. Just perfect for me. Does it go up hills though? And how many wine bottles can one fit in the basket? Find out for me and let me know, pronto. I want one of those, and I want one NOW!!!

No, it's not illegal. She just needs to be careful though, if it's blinged up she will just draw attention to herself

Of course it is not illegal and how do you know she does not need it? Maybe she walked into the store just fine, but some people tire quickly and neeed to get off their feet. If you know her and she is able to walk, then we assume she is just lazy and wants to ride.

How do you know she doesn't need it? You can't tell that I am disabled by looking at me but I have a lung disease which means I can't walk.

No not really. Not when there is an elderly desperatly needing one.

I think it is wrong if she trully has no real disability. She must be off in someway, why would an able bodied person want to be slowed down and have to maneuver around things. I knew a girl that rented a wheel chair so she would be first in line at Six flags for every ride. I dont know how she could have enjoyed herself like this. Some people are just rude. But think of it like this sitting on her butt like this, she will soon be FAT. and you will get the last laugh!!!!
