screw censorship. Get over it. High schoolers are and will do this stuff.

I think high school yearbooks should have pictures of orgies in them. I'd donate money to that cause any day.

I would have a fit if I were a parent and find out who the teacher was in charge of supervising the yearbook staff of students. You are not to put that kind of stuff in a yearbook, I know, I was on my h.s. yearbook staff and we had a teacher working with us on pictures and copy. We couldn't do anything without his approval. And that's the way it should be.

Someone should point out to these kids that photos of them committing crimes (drug use and underage drinking) are evidence enough to get them arrested. Even if it were ok (which it's not, since a yearbook is a school sponsored thing), it's still stupid.

a yearbook is for the students to remember their high school years and what they did-have to hope they learned something besides how to party dont believe it should be censored but do think there should be someone availible to guide them on what would be appropiate photos and what isnt-after that it is there choice-keep the peace old hippie here

YAY! Our hard won tax dollars right down the friggin toilet. Today's schools are the worst we've ever had... It's time for vouchers now. P.S. Your freedom of expression specifically precludes illegal activities. (You can't kill someone and say "I was trying to express myself!) Any student pictured breaking the law should be prosecuted, and the entire school system, from school board, through teachers, should be fired. (yeah, why are we becoming a third world country???)

I do not. Students operate under limited civil rights, by virtue of being students. Based on previous court precedent, I believe that the faculty advisor or principal of the school would have been well within their rights to remove the offending material. Did no one at North Central even look at the layout before it went to press?

Yes, they should allow it, as soon as the photos are shown to the parents and the police, right afterwords we should show the mug shots, convictions, and pics of the jails cells and bubby bending over some boy for a little afternoon delight. Bet you if we put in all that UNCENSORED stuff in yearbooks we wouldn't have no pics of the weed and drinking in the first place.
