Are all of Macy's Interviews Group Interviews?

Is this how group interviews normally go?

  • I went back to an old facility where I used to work at, for a group interview. In a nutshell, let's just say that that whole process reminded me why I wanted to quit and not work there in the first place. Anyhoo, there were about 10 or more people in the room being "interviewed". The head boss came in and gave her speech, asked like 2 questions and that was it. We went for a tour around the facility and at the end, told us, "if you want an interview or job, call at this time tomorrow." Is this the normal process of how group interviews are? I thought they called you? maybe they just don't have time and are desperate to hire people.

  • Answer:

They don't want to bother interviewing people who aren't interested. Usually places that have group interviews are shitty places to work anyways ...if you hated it the first time why not find something better?
