How come it's alright to make a movie called White Men Can't Jump' but not a movie called 'Black People Can't

The previous poster mentioned how badly blacks were treated in the past, and I agree totally, but I do agree that we should be trying to be equal now, in all ways.

It's called reverse racism. Being "politically correct' isn't always easy.

Until not long back, white people could lynch colored people, use colored people in syphilis experiments like guineau pigs, set attack dogs on them etc.. So, it is perfectly fine to say 'White people can't jump', because it pales in comparison with what white people were able to get away with.

They've joked about that in many movies. Just haven't named them that.

go to a more upscale theatre where the clientele are better behaved. there is always a rich area of town that attracts a better class of white black and other customers. local theatres attract local people. many may even know each other. it is a social occassion. buy a home theatre system if you require strict adherence to etiquette I DID and I never looked back
