Does saying nice things to people that even got into a bit of trouble or a little fuss feel nice for you?

Yesterday afternoon on Bulbagarden, I first got into a little fuss about my dictionary breaking and losing its ability to speak so I went on the Bulbagarden forums to ask for help because no one was helping me on Yahoo Answers. I met a new users and then after a few minutes and several posts, he broke one little rule. I know I shouldn't have been doing this because I'm not a mod and I was just trying to be as friendly as possible to prevent someone from getting themselves banned in a spam thread, meaning I was trying to save them. As you can see the double post is fixed now and was fixed by a mod but before then, it was still a double post. I sent TheDragoniteMaster who was originally DragoniteMaster without the The when I made the new friend. Upriser looked above and saw it was a double post so in my angry but calm attitude, I wanted to tell him about it politely. I didn't mean to offend him or anything. Honest, honestly, I would never do that on a forum. I quoted his post skipping over her double post and then I saw what they were referring to so I edited my post to say "Double posting like that is really unnecessary. Did you have to make a random 2nd spam post with very little meaning? Next time edit it in or a mod might see it and give you a spam post infraction. Just trying to help you avoid trouble." which means that I really like this member and don't want to see him warned or banned just for some silly spam post that is allowed in the Random Messages thread. Then he lied a little and said, "Wait, what? I didn't double-post, I just edited it. O_o" which wasn't true at the time and then Upriser came in and said, "At one point, it was a DP" in which I believed he was right and Shiny Celebi, my first friend said, "as long as you edit it its fine" but I saw it doubled and I even took a screenshot to prove to him what he's done wrong but I wasn't completely mad at him for doing so or even lying and I didn't curse or yell at him either. I know he just made an obvious embarrassing mistake and just didn't want to admit it. I admitted to something even more troublesome and wasn't afraid of it. But in his next post, DragoniteMaster claimed it was just an accident and was probably sorry but it sounded like I was provoking him with my edit because Tinypic.com was running a bit slow and the green button didn't work the first time which was an accident on my part too. He said "Well, I have no clue how that happened. I mean, I would have known if I double-posted. Yeah, that's all I did." Then they moved on and when finally I got the screenshot as slow as hell as this computer is, I finally posted "If the truth is obvious, just tell it and promise us you won't do it again. This is a fun thread but even I edit my posts because I know it's wrong to do it. I can try to bring up a screenshot on tinypic.com but the clicks won't work. No matter how many times I clicked so basically I can show you the page and what you should've done. Here's the screenshot. I refreshed the page and sorry it took so long. Always tell the truth if a screenshot can prove what you did wrong. http://oi55.tinypic.com/4ha3qg.jpg " which got me the warning in place of an infraction. Then later, someone said before I got the warning, DragoniteMaster said, "If you don't believe me, then report me. That's your choice. I didn't do it, so my conscious is clear. Wait, why am I even trying to justify myself? Seems a little ridiculous, don't you think?" I was very sorry that I posted what I posted because my internet was running a little slower than I thought and I didn't see his other post claiming it was an accident because the Random Messages Thread was moving so fast and I was busy pulling up a screenshot just to show it to his face. And then on the next page, King Maggot came in and said "You do realize we could easily just report you back for minimodding. Just a friendly warning from a veteran, if the guy edited it, let him be, or that is minimodding and trolling" so then I got scared because I wasn't trying to troll or minimod but it seemed like minimodding in their eyes so I sent up an apology and said "Sorry. I was just trying to let him know. I even told the truth about my signature violation and really I was focused on getting my dictionary fixed, but then other people pointed out it was a double post by the time I got back from sending him a vm. I'm terribly sorry. Can we please go back to random messages? Who's ready?" now I was off that subject and I got no infractions but a warning. Rayne sent it to me and then I vmed him saying "Rayne, I'm sorry for what happened in the Random Messages thread. Basically, I was so angry that my dictionary fell on the floor and broke a few years ago and that it stopped working on me so to the guy
