What do you do as a pharmacy technician trainee?

Is this a good cover letter for applying at a doctor's office as a pharmacy tech?

  • Dear Sir or Madam, This letter is to express my interest in working with your organization as a Pharmacy Technician. I saw an advertisement for the same in the (newspaper) and would therefore like to submit my resume for the same position and would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you further about this career opportunity. I completed a 281 hour Pharmacy Technician course provided by the (school) and I received my license from the California State Board of Pharmacy and later I received my trainee license with the Arizona Board of Pharmacy which I believe qualifies me for the job position. Although my pharmacy experience is limited to my training, I am confident I will acquire the necessary skills within a short amount of time. I will be a dedicated employee if given the opportunity to work in your organization and I'd also most definitely make the best use of my existing professional skills. I would like to schedule an interview with you at your convenience. Thank you for your time and consideration Sincerely, Me ( I used some parts from other letters I read that apply to my experience and situation and tried to make them work for me as much as possible. I held other jobs as office assistants and I'm working at a bank now. I did my training in Pharmacy Tech but have not been given the opportunity to work as one yet.) Please Help!!
