What is the difference between worshiping the Kim's in north Korea and Jesus?

  • I just watched a documentary where the people in North Korea where pretty much worshiping the late Kim Jong il similarly to Jesus. I guess in North Korea they will kill you if you don't but didn't the Christian use to do that?

No. For several hundred years Christians were persecuted Evangelical Christians were the victims of Inquisitions. Bible translators were killed by the "church" that strayed from Jesus.
