How do I return two UITableViewCells?

Do these two verses mean that the return of Christ is very soon?

According to II Peter 3:8, with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. Does this mean the return of Christ is very soon? Are your ready?

    okay, their are signs that the Lord's return is soon, such as the euro being used more and more widely, such as the israelites getting ready to rebuild the temple, lots of things, but no one knows when it will be specifically. we certainly have the technological concepts for the "mark of the beast" such as fingerprint scanners (the sign on the hand) and retnal scanners (the sign on the forhead) i'd say be ready any time, because the pieces are being set up, even as we speak. i'm ready as anything to leave, yes

In the bible it says that god will return very soon, there are examples that are given that will tell us his return is soon.

According to the Apocalypse, the Antichrist has to come first, and mark his servants on the forehead. But then, the apostles expected Jesus to come back during their lifetime. I wouldn't cross my fingers.

Sparky, those are literal 7 days. The way it is written in Hebrew suggested literal 24-hours periods, not eons. In addition, Jesus mentioned that the apostles would be alive when Jesus was resurrected. Jesus was pointing to his resurrection in the verse Matthew 16:28. "I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom." The kingdom refers to that of the network of believers.

Neither of these verses has to do with the return of the Lord at this time. Granted, 2 Pet. 3:8 is referring to the Second Coming, but in context of your question the answer is-no. Yes, I am ready.
