What do Buddhist believe in and what do they want for themselves?

I want to know what it feels like to know that GOD and Jesus believe that I believe in them?

  • I want to feel it all the time so that my belief never strays me. I want to know if what I have felt before is it or is just completely nothing-a normal feeling. I also feel like it's not fair that I try and believe that I have always been a believer most of my life but it feels almost obvious that GOD and Jesus must not believe me. Is there a secret trick-or am I believing right or am I believing wrong?

If you think they don't believe you, then they don't. Stop doubting yourself. God sees the insides of your head, even your nasty nasty nasty thoughts... Tell yourself, I'm a believer and Jesus knows cause I'm transparent to him. Then do a victory dance to humour him.

it is a mind trick. you will never get this info from your environment. that is why they tell you you must have faith, cos they know it will never be proven to you independently. you'll never hear what God thinks of you, you will beg and pray but never receive an answer from Jesus, get used to this or open your mind and realize there maybe something else at play than what they are telling you. if you want to believe then just quit asking questions and follow. if you want to wonder about the world and question and figure things out then look into something other than religion, at least for now. you'll get "saved" when you get older anyhow, that is what always happens

Remember how you believed in Santa and the Easter Bunny? Remember how you wrote Santa letters and you would get what you asked for? Same basic principle. At one point you decide to stay up and you happen to see your parents taking the presents to the tree. And then the disillision hits you and you cant wrap your mind around the idea that that nice old fat guy dressed in red that you loved so much and believed in isnt real...Basically, its the same idea. right now, god is trying to break up this ongoing fight between jesus and mohomed...he just got home, and boy is he PISSED!!! the place is a mess and there are drunk people passed out all over the place...i think jesus is gonna get grounded for this one...buddha is just laughing at the whole thing. so anyway, to answer your question, god's a little busy right now with his own problems, so you're gonna hafta wait 'till he cleans up a bit and can recieve guests again. PROPER guests, not all the drunken reprobates that jesus calls friends....peace.
