Is Radha an incarnation of Lakshmi?

Spiritually speaking Which is the favourite roop (form) of woman according to you?

  • Durga Parvati Lakshmi Seeta Radha other

  • Answer:

Women is Vandaneeya in every Roop. But Durga is my inspiration, my shelter, my strength etc. etc. Whenever I think of Mahishmardini, my all fears and insecurity vanish as darkness runs away during the sunrise. Sita, Radha and other are also honourable but it is Durga who really helps me. Sita and Radha are Soumya. They represent Pramaan....but for a person like me, no Pramaan is required..I already believe in them....after that Durga harbours me. Naman to all women including You ! :)

I guess I don't have a favorite, all forms of Shakti are beautiful and life positive. "Where the women are adored or worshiped, there dwells God." Happy Navarathri!!!

Oh! These are but 'symbolic forms'! Any 'favouritism' would only tend to confine us to that aspect of a woman-power/capability (shakti). In the 'Hindu way of life', we have prescribed the 'toughest' of paths even! The wife, the spouse, plays all these and more roles, even to the husband. The actual 'wife' role is very limited. (That is why there is lots of confusion in the present day! The reference that the lady is a 'wife' keeps the husband, and yet others reminding them incessantly to 'look' out for a wife, a daughter-in-law, most of the times! And where the roles are needed differently, the poor lady struggles to play the 'wife/d'-in-law' role too often! The Durga role is detested by relatives/people around. The seeta role is over-exploited. The Radha role evokes envy/jealousy. The husband seldom 'deserves' the Parvati role! The Lakshmi role is not given 'adequate' trust/freedom! The confusion tries to insist on 'submissive' roles only!). When these highest of symbolisms did not work, or rather sustain for too long, some spiritual giant had happened to coin a sloka, some where in the middle of Kali-Yug, where by they scaled down the roles, without diluting the quality of roles too much, and making it concise, confined to the husband, calling her a mother, a friend, (like) a servant and a wife to the husband during various times/parts of each day, but today even that does not work! (We can easily see 'traces' of these forms (roop) in successful woman in the present day social life. But, the conceptual part gets merged into the emotional evaluation or heroine worship, and the young woman fails to have a grasp on the 'sutra' (concept), to emulate such examples.) It is admirable to find somebody even 'thinking' of these forms, and persuading yet others, with such questions!
