yall will be in my prayers!!! casting crowns and newsboys are good. KLOVE is supposedly nation wide, (radio), and it dosn't have any commercials. It's very uplifting, and they play incredible music, all christian.

It would be good to know what kind of music your hubby likes. If he likes country, go to your local Christian book store and check out their Christian country section. They've got lots of different kinds, like bluegrass, old time Gospel and even newer stuff. There are all styles of music you can introduce him to, that are solid and clean. I like the WOW CD's, which have various artists on them and are generally the top contemporary Christian songs of the year. They usually come in a double CD set, for lots of enjoyment. Whatever his style, it can be found at that store. My husband likes the bluegrass style, but also likes some of the older Gospel stuff too, like The Kingsmen, Gold City and The Bill Gaither Trio. There's also some tracks from The Promise Keepers stuff, which is for men, by men. Music is a very powerful way to get someone's attention, when words don't seem to get through. I to was a crack addict, for ten years, until I gave my life to the Lord 2 yrs. ago. what helped my as far as music was Casting Crowns & Mercy Me. they both have some good songs.....tell your hushand to hang in there and don't give up, he is not alone in this. and i will pray for him and you because i know what my wife went through.
