Does fitrum really work?

Spiritually speaking, is it a sin to drink at work if you're really, really, REALLY annoyed?

  • I work in an office. My normal "work group" is 4 people. One is on vacation all week, and one took it upon herself to call in sick for the first half of the week (she was really out of town and at the salon...I found out) . So, I've been trying to do the work of 3 people (myself included in the 3). Well, I just got griped at by the boss for being behind in certain things, never mind that we are not as far behind as we could be, and never mind that I've been coming in early and working through lunch. It's hard to get things done when it's just you and one other person. So, would God forgive me for having a swig of whiskey while on the time-clock? Just this one time? I don't ask for much.

    It is only a sin if you get busted. Otherwise, God loves as good functioning drunk. Just look at the Catholics..

haha, yes have some whiskey. and ask questions on answers. combined, those two activities should help you finish your work in no time! if you're still behind after that, you may want to seriously consider internet backgammon.

In this situation, I'm pretty sure God would forgive you if you drank the whole bottle then threw it at your bosses head. Of course, this would more than likely exclude you from the "corn hole" fun at the company picnic.
