What is the process of digestion in man?

Could God have created man through the process of evolution?

  • I know many Creationists tend to disagree with the notion of evolution, but consider this... In Genesis 2:6-7 it says, "But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground. And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." That's about as detailed as it gets, but with the scientific knowledge we have now, I propose that this could possibly be interpreted as meaning that God set the process of evolution in motion, by starting with single-celled organisms growing in a fertile soil, and with the process of time, God had created humans. Although it may have taken a very long time, this is one way God could have created man from the dust. Then at one point, God chose a certain man to be Adam's body, and placed Adam's spirit in him. Thus, man became a living soul. Your thoughts?

    He could have, but He didn't. Why is it so hard to just accept God at His Word? If you want the approval of the world, you will lose the approval of God.

Personally, I find it amusing when certain religious folk disregard or judge things like evolution, science, atheists, satanists,etc...because, if there is a god, he/she would have created all those things. That's the problem with believing in a god AND passing judgement. They're basically criticizing HIS creations for their own selfish reasons.

yes why not?? who says that men just appeared, God created them in the blink of an eye? i totally agree that God could have let man evolve, learn and grow at their own pace. it makes sense really.

I am a firm believer in god, i just find it hard to believe the bible is his direct word. THE BIBLE IS JUST STORIES THAT WERE PASTED DOWN VERBALLY TILL SOMEONE WROTE THEM DOWN.

THAT is EXACTLY what I have been saying for years. Everyone is fighting about stupid things, when in fact, the two views fit very well together. Here is another example. The Big Bang is supposedly when a mass of energy imploded, thus creating space (through some scientific stuff that nobody understands, lol). But we also know for a fact that energy is neither created or destroyed, it just changes forms. Well, something had to create the energy (a God, perhaps?)... hence the two views are working together. People need to stop fighting, and try to work together to find out more about people and why we are here. But most people are too stingy to admit that they are partially wrong, so they just get more defensive. Everyone saying "When did man get his soul" and crap like that doesn't understand one thing... Who says that everything doesn't have a soul. I think everything does, but just like intelligence, it changes with experience and learning. The soul gets stronger and more apparent the more the species grows up and/or evolves. Think before you spout out crap like that.
