What causes the Earth's magnetosphere?

What does this have to do with an electric dynamo and if so how does an electric dynamo work? Please make this as simple as possible as most research I have done has been quite confusing! Thank you

The Earth's magnetosphere is created by the convective currents in the Earth's outer core. The outer core is liquid iron. When a conductive fluid moves it creates an electrical current and a magnetic field. That conductive fluid is the electric dynamo. All of the other planets and moons that have magnetospheres also have conductive fluids in motion. (They are all electric dynamos.)
