/Pros/ - Contains a lot of energy - Fairly easy to extract, as it is in high pressure and easily rises to the surface - Easy to transport, being a liquid /Cons/ - Usualy requires oil rigs to be built over oceans, which isn't an east task - Need deep drills to get to the oil supplies - Releases CO2 when burnt, which may cause a global warming effect - May release CO when burnt, which is toxic to humans - Must be transported by tanker. If tankers crash, vast amounts of oil are released and it does great harm to ecosystems. Some of many pros and cons.
