What will be the primary form of transportation in Santa Cruz, California in 20 years?

    Well, seems like you have two questions here, and since I don't know what they talked about at the summit in SLC today, I'll take a crack at the Santa Cruz question. The primary mode of trasnport will be gondolas, like the ones they use in Venice, Italy, since poor old Santa Cruz (one of my favorite towns!) has been badly damaged by earthquakes since the big one in '86. And I think that a few more will split the town up into little islands and make gondola or motorboat travel a viable option. (I'm half-kidding on this answer, by the way, and hope I am wrong!)
