What are some geology jobs?

• Im doing a reserach on jobs about geology and I was wondering if someone can help me research more about geology. The questions that I need to asnwer is what does a person who has this job do on a day to day basis? what type of salary can you expect for this job? what kind of degree is needed in order to get this job? how many years of school is necessary to complete the degree or degrees? what type of classes would you have to take in order to complete the degree? mention at least 5 classes related to geology. what do you find interesting about this job? would it be something you would consider doing in the future? You dont have to answer all these questions but at least give me a head start on how to do it and give me a geology job.. please and thank you.. ii appreciate it. i need it asap. thanks

  Geologists find work: Looking for oil and natural gas, studying earth history, planetary geology, groundwater resources, roadway and building foundation, mining and quarrying, paleontology, teaching science, mineralogy, geophysics, geochemists etc. Most geologist would have a bachelors of science degree and take physical geology, historical geology, mineralogy, petrology, structural geology as well as some more specialized courses like geophysics or petroleum geology. Some may enjoy it so much they will go to graduate school and delve deeper into things. The most interesting thing about geology is having some perception and humble understanding about the planet. I cant imagine how I would have gotten by without understanding some things.
