What is the thickest forest in the U.S?

What impact do forest fires have on man. Also what impact do forest fires have on landforms.?

  • If you can tell me forest fires impact on weather/climate it would also be helpful.

  • Answer:

Forest fires can be devastating to man. Losing houses and poor air quality is not exactly an ideal way of life for man. As for landforms, it changes it but makes the soil better for regrowth and the next generation forest will be a lot stronger. The Everglades in Florida catches on fire every 5-10 years, which is a good thing (by natural causes like lightning). I remember I lived in Weston FL which is one of the nearest towns to the everglades. We were a bit frightened during the fires. We were advised to stay indoors certain times of the day because the smoke and ash would be blown toward us due to wind patterns. I remember having to wash my dads car every few days to keep the ash from eroding the paint. I was about 15 when I lived through that.
