Any suggestions for a 5th Grade Science Fair Project ?

try building a life-like DNA structure and present a project on base pairing. or conduct a gravity related experiment using a clear bottle and one of those things that suck air out of a wine bottle to create a vacuum or you could do a study of brain side dominence by testing which side of the brain is more comenly dominit concidering veriables like age gender ext. Maybe, you should do something easy and simple, like which detergent cleans the most. Rub a new plain white shirt in the mud, get some detergent, and clean the shirt for 30 min. hand washed. Repeat and use a different detergent.

you could maybe do a project on how the heart rate goes up depending on how much exercise you do. i did that project and got a good grade on it... good luck.

Get 2 clear glasses fill them with water put 2 tabelspoons of salt in one glass and get 2 eggs, one for each glass mix the salt in with the water -preferably warm water for sure fire sucess- and put the eggs in the water. The salt water egg wil float. Just find out why it does that and your good to go. You can also buy tiles,grow mold on them and see what cleaners remove it faster. Ooooorrrrr make a lighter. Take a peice of tin foil (though stainless steel works best) and place 2 AA bateries on it one standing on the - side one standing on the + side. Then put 2 staples bent straight on the tops of the bateries and put the tips together there may be sparks but then the stapels light up orange and hot and stuff.

a really cool one, (would for sure get you a great mark) would be, Subject: Prove that water has Hydrogen and Oxygen atoms how to: You get water, in a container, a big wide open one. Get any form of electricity, and run it through the water By doing this it will separate the Hydrogen and the Oxygen Atoms! SO mist/gas would come out, its awesome! Google it for more info!

corn starch + water project its really easy just mix corn starch and water until its kinda hard but still liquid. It basically a liquid that turns into a solid for a few seconds when hit with something (ur finger or any object) but when you just touch it and ur hand will sink in..

... something amazing and crazy not boring or too common(volcano) Try a solar powered toy car maybe i know fry's is selling a kit with everything all you need is to assemble it. Be creative, and avoid the common projects that everyone makes

When I was in Elementary school I did the simple "Which brand of pop corn pops more?" to see which brand left the most kernels in the bag. :D It's easy and takes like 15 minutes to do.
