What is meant by empirical integration in...?
-
... this quote: "God does not care about our mathematical difficulties. He integrates empirically."
-
Answer:
Wikipedia, Empirical: "A central concept in science and the scientific method is that all evidence must be empirical, or empirically based, that is, dependent on evidence or consequences that are observable by the senses." Basically, it means that it doesn't matter how much we struggle with difficult integrals (a potentially very difficult calculus operation that I assume you are familiar with), that is how the universe is. It isn't really a statement about god either. It just refers to the way the universe works. We can observe with our senses that integration exists (observe empirically), and thus no matter the difficulty in getting to the end result, we know that integration reveals the "true operation" of nature.
