What is the roman numeral number for zero?

There is none. That is why Roman Numerals are so cumbersome. The invention of the zero was pure genius! That is why we use Arabic Numerals today.

There is no zero in Roman numerals. They didn't have a zero. It was introduced into Europe by the Arabs, but Dr. Math, at the link below, says it was developed earlier in India.
