The profits - - er, make that "prophets", have left the area and there will be no refunds. However another prediction for another end of the world is confidently expected some time this side of 2020 just as soon as you fool - - er customers forget this one and the prophets can find some other obscure documents to lie about - - ah - - - interpret. The management advises that any books or video material you have will be equally valid for the next end of the world with of course the exception of the Mayan calendar information as other stray planets, Nostradamus predictions, solar flares, line ups in space and polar shifts will all appear on whatever day they finally choose. Of course shelters you may have built and guns you may have purchased will be useful but perishable food supplies might best be used. We apologise for the delay. well, sooner or later the world will be destroyed. keeping in view of the rate at which the polar ice caps are melting and the global warming is increasing, we can say this. also, people are least concerned when it comes to being concerned for nature. its funny, some people dont believe that global warming exists! unless more trees are planted, vehicular and factory pollution decreased, reducing exploitation of natural resources, water, air, earth pollution, using effective waste management, recycling and reusing.. atleast some of these initiatives are taken up voluntarily by the people, we cant save ourselves. We are digging our own graves

the whole dooomsday thing is a modern theory of why the ancient Mayans ended their Long Count Calender (one of many calenders) on Dec 21 2012. The ancient Mayans beleived that everything had a cycle and they tried to create calenders to keep track of these cycles.The Dooms day theory is based on the last day of the Long Count Calender, buy we have nothing from the ancient Mayans that says why they ended that calender on that date.Maybe they a couple thousand years ahead was good enough and ended their calender on a random day.
