How long was the longest stay on the moon?

How many hours did Neil Armstrong stay on the moon for?

  • How many hours did Neil Armstrong stay on the moon for? I dont want to know how long it took them to get there just how long they actually stayed ON the moon?

  • Answer:

Neil Armstrong and Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin were on the surface of the Moon for 21 hours, 31 minutes, and 20 seconds. But this is the ENTIRE time they were on the surface, including the time they were in the lunar module. They were only out on the surface in their spacesuits walking around (EVA) for 2 hours, 36 minutes, and 40 seconds. The shortest of all 6 lunar landing missions.
