Who created Amazon.com?

I dont seem to know who really created man? who created the earth?

  • its so confusing, because almost all Christians, who know that God created them by their faith, are forced to believe otherwise, when they start learning physics.... they say the earth was created as a result of the big blast,...what caused the big blast?...they say we evolved from monkeys..( except me..lol)..but who created the monkeys?..it remains a mystery. can anyone help me out?

  • Answer:

No one "knows," as in hard evidence, tangible facts, knows, who created this whole thing we refer to as life. Christians choose to to believe the god created man and the earth, however, they often times either reconcile their faith with the science they are faced with, or choose to disregard it entirely. You have, however, hit a big question. The big bang theory, without going into much detail, requires some input of energy from somewhere... where? I know there are theories on this but I cannot recall them at this moment - you'd be good to google the big bang theory and see what you come up with. The apes are a result of evolution, evolving, if you look back far enough, from some very tiny, albiet important, amino acids (building blocks of a cell) from deep within the ocean. Try searching spontaneous regeneration for this theory, it should give you something to think about. Also, one must take into consideration how advanced our technology is today - and how it is fast progressing. There was one point in human history that the popular belief was that the earth was flat, and all of the planets revolved around the earth. While long disproven, think of the things we might discover in the future. While we cannot answer questions like the ones you have asked now, they may be possible to answer in the future. New technologies, new ideas... the possibilities are endless... On another note - why do we limit ourselves to theories about life such as these... Sometimes, while not scientifically, or religiously relevant, it's interesting to ponder the idea that life on earth could be from something extra-terrestrial, merely orchestrated by another life form we know nothing about. The earth could be part of something even bigger than anything we can think of. Finally, please reference my response with care. It barely touches the tip of the iceberg, and you would do well to research more about some of these ideas on your own.

No - most Christian BELIEVE (not know) that God created everything. All things are made out of Hydrogen. Gravity and Stars are the manufacturing process.

If god created humans then he is the biggest loser in the universe because he did a piss poor job. Why is it that out of all of the creatures, we have a defective vitamin C gene that requires us to constantly eat food with vitamin C? If we don´t we die horribly. And how come chimpanzees have the exact same defect in their vitamin C gene? What kind of god screws up like that not once but twice? Who actually finds serenity worshiping such a loser? Or maybe humans and chimpanzees just have a common ancestor and this is all evolution at work...

This is a pretty deep question to be asking on a forum like this. You can't seriously expect to get a fully comprehensive answer on here. Go do some research. Visit some creation sites, read what they have to say. Read some main-stream material afterwards. Decide for yourself who has the stronger arguments.

Your question is a very sad one, and I wish it could be answered in a way that would make you happy--but it probably can't. "The truth will make you free, but first it will make you miserable." I fear you must work through this for yourself. First you must seek the REAL truth. Get rid of fallacious stories you may have had forced on you by religious leaders who are afraid of nothing more than losing their jobs. A good example is the lie that says that the Doctrine of Evolution "says we evolved from monkeys." That is not what evolution is about, and no one who has actually READ the science believes we evolved from monkeys. There is evidence to suggest that we and monkeys evolved from a common family of ancient ancestors. All of this is knowledge you need, and you must learn to approach it calmly. There is no conflict between the Christian faith and the current knowledge base of modern science. I leave it to you to explore the meaning of that statement. After you work through the miserable phase, you will feel better, and you will feel free. Good luck.

Not true. I believe in God. I always have. The more that I learn about astronomy, physics and science, the more that I am convinced to continue to believe in God. My Faith gets stronger every day! The big bang theory, Darwin's theory of evolution, the creation theory---they are theories. Ideas loosly based on what might be percieved to have happened. There is no REAL hard evidence or proof of any of it. Some are more popular than others. They are interesting in their own rights, but still only a theory. Edit: Poo Poo on you who are so sad that you have to thumbs down the truth. It doesn't matter. I know in MY heart and that is all that counts. You people are to be pitied. Very SAD indeed.
