Summer in the Northern Hemisphere 5) In the sun is over the Tropic of Cancer. 6) The Earth's Northern Axis is tilted towards the sun. 7) The Sun is at 23° 26′ 22″ Latitude. 8) The Earth is furthest from the Sun in it's orbit.
