Where do steeel come from?

In your opinion where did Matter come from, and Where did the concept of "existence" come from? Please answer!?

• Hi, this has been bothering me for my whole life and I still am not sure how to explain my questions. If you could give me your own opinion... 1. Lets say the Big Bang really did happen - Where did all the matter come from? Because time and everything started at the Big Bang, There is no way the concept of "existence" existed. Where did all this matter come from? it couldn't of randomly appeared into nothing because even "nothing" did not exist. 2. In your opinion who or what decided everything that exists and concepts of mathematics, physics etc. For example we have Up, Down, Left, Right. What decided there wouldnt be other directions that could exist, not imaginable by our brains? What decided there are only Certain colours that exist, What decided 1=1 =2, If the universe was different 1+1 could of =6. Sorry if My questions are confusing, I have literally tried to think of a way to explain these questions my whole life. Things I said in my question like "Who or What decided the concepts and matter in our universe will exist, or even the concept of "existence" itself" - is worded wrong because before the Big Bang There was no concept of "Who or What, Or how, or anything" Even the concept of Nothing did not exist. Every minute of Everyday since I was in my early teens ( I am 26 now) I have been bothered by this. Thanks

  If I had to guess, i would say matter existed similar to today's known universe, exepct it was collapsing... eventually collapsing to an infinitely small volume, where it exploded (big bang) and is now expanding again as part of a cycle.
