Why do people still believe the Apollo moon landings are genuine?

Because until its on National news saying that they were fake I'll always believe they actually happened, besides there was far too many countries around the world with radio telescopes following the landings, including England !, and if they have not reported any wrong doings then why should we believe otherwise ??. Plus at the time Russia was in a race to get there first, and they also tracked it, and if they thought it was fake surely they would have shouted it from the roof tops !!.

yeah yeah yeah.... blah blah blah.. mankinds greatest acheivement is a fake..OF COURSE IT IS!! don't tell me princess diana was killed by MI6? lee harvey oswald didn't kill kennedy? there is a ufo at roswell? complete rubbish my friend... all these conspiracy theories hold no water...

Why, because they put a laser reflector on the moon and it is still in use. Simple fact. Scientific fact. Undeniable fact. UFO/Conspiracy theorists cannot refute the scientific evidence, much as they may try. To deny the moon landings is as moronic as denying the Holocaust! Why do some paranoid nut cases believe they were fake? (BTW did you know that space aliens killed President Kennedy?)

Hey, if the Fox Network and two old guys who are making a fortune off this story say that's what happened, why am I to question them and not believe the truth. I really don't believe that the country spent 28 billion dollars and 14 years and hired 250,000 to make a movie and have a quarter of a million people not let out the secret I worked on the Saturn V; I know it was real. . Even Nicholas Cage movies don't cost that much to make.. It's a shame that 3 people gave their lives to make it happen and some people need to believe conspiracy crap.

I believe that the Moon landings did take place for a number of reasons. Thousands of people saw the spacecraft lift off. Observatories around the world tracked the spacecraft all the way to the moon. Rock samples were brought back to prove the landing on the moon, and these samples have been examined by Scientists from all over the world and verified that they are genuine samples from the moon.The re entry was also tracked all over the world, and the lift off from the Moons surface. The conspiracy theories are quite compelling. However, Why did Russia provide their own 'proof' of the American lunar landing? At the time it was not in their political interest to do so.
