Just wondering what you would choose, film school or art/design school and why?

For school, which area is better for jobs after, Art + Design or Film? I am stuck between film and design. Currently i go to school for Film and I have been to school for a foundations course in art + design. I would love to go to school for both, but I do not have the money. In art + design, my skills lie in industrial design, ceramic art, textiles, painting/drawing, lithography, photography graphic design or advertising. In film my skills lie in art direction and casting. Do you work in any of these fields? What advice can you share? I appreciate all your help :) Sincerely, D

No, I do not work in any of these fields but will give you my thought. I watch alot of movies,series,documentaries,videos,dvds,… movies,youtube etc.etc. In art and design, I watercolor and not much else. So I would probably choose film-but your knowledge seems greater in art+design. So wouldn't your mastery of this skill be more of the choice for you.

Do what you like to do. If your skills are in Art Direction then study more int he design area. As far as casting goes, that's more in the direction of acting.
