How do i order a movie ticket?

my class is going on a field trip to the movies we are watching hunger games and we have to buy our own tickets when we get there, ive never been to movie thetre before so what do i say? should i say this? "Hi can i have 1 ticket for the hunger games in 3d at 7:00?" and then i give them the money. or do i have to say something else? please help im embarresed to ask anyone :$
