because hollywood loves to recycle scripts. many of the movies are hardly worth the money that you pay to go and see it. i acquire movies and buy them as well. if the movie is worth the money than i shall purchase it. if it isnt then, if im interested in it, i shall acquire it by other means...

First of all, hollywood likes to exaggerate bad news like this because it gives them an excuse not to make good movies that make more money. Blame the bad guy. Just like the music industry tries to rip us off by blaming illegal downloading.Both industries would be better off focusing on producing good product and not chasing the consumer away by accusing everyone of piracy. Besides the fact that they ripoff everyone they work with in the industry by creative accounting.The music companies ripoff the artist by claiming production costs on every itune download of 70 cents,even though it cost them next to nothing to offer these downloads. the artist gets pennies for their work.

I don't ... i try to go to the theaters, or rent some original movies from a videoclub, and some movies i really like, i buy in DVD - or someone give them as a gift for my son, like all of the Harry Potter movies!!!!
