Help with TV show, please help?

Help me find this movie/tv show episode PLEASE?

• I've been trying to find this movie/tv show episode for years, and have had no luck. I was very young when I watched it in the 90's, so I can't remember if it was a feature film, tv movie or a tv show episode on something similar to the twilight zone. It's either from the late 70's, 80's or early 90's, at a guess I would say 80's. It's about a young boy who has a television which along the bottom has the alphabet. When he pressed the 'P' button, he is shown the past and when he presses the 'F' button, he is shown the future. I can remember at one point he tells his dad which horses will win races etc. to win money, and at another point he is watching the past and he sees a day when him and his sister were younger and they were on the swings and he hurts himself and when their parents say they need to go to hospital, his sister doesn't want to leave and the boy is then upset by this. This is all I can remember from this, it's very hazy, but I'm desperate to find out what it is!! If you know please help!

  I am really not sure, but I am guessing it is something like an Outer Limits episode (that type of show) rather than a movie. I looked around in TV Tropes (addictive, warning ya) and searched for "Future", "seeing into the future", "magical television", etc. Basically, it is a site that lets you look up movies by tropes, idioms, themes, etc. You can also find out which tropes were used in a movie or show or book, etc. Offering my last search link. It might help your search if you can think of some other specific, try to guess who was in it and so on.
