What Movie To Watch Tonight?

What movie should we watch tonight?

  • my best friend is coming over and SHE wants to watch a romantic chick flick, like oh, I don't know, Titanic or Romeo and Juliet etc? But I want to watch an action or foreign movie. So, what movie should we BOTH watch from each category?

    for foreign/action try the original "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" or "Laisse-Moi Entrer" though i liked "Let Me In" (the English adaptation) much more. for Romantic chick flick try "The Vow" (Romance) or "Friends With Kids" (Romantic Comedy)

What about "Let Me In" It's kind of romantic, and the rest of the time it's a creepy thriller about a little vampire girl. You're probably thinking "Not more vampires, good god", but it's not like that. it's a remake of a Swedish movie called "Let The Right One In", so you could rent that if you wanted it to be foreign. Either way, it's a brilliant movie.

Why don't you combine romance and foreign? I would suggest 'Amélie' (2001). It's a great feel good movie and just happens to contain romance with a fresh approach. Or even better... Romance, Action & Foreign: 'Run Lola Run' (1998). :)
